This week’s Entrepreneur Crush is Alicia Haynie, the woman behind Lavender Lemon Laundry & Lifestyle, and saying she’s grown quickly somehow still feels like an understatement.
She started this business less than a year ago with a simple goal, support her daughter by paying for college and build something that worked around the life she needed to live as a single mom. What began as a mobile laundry service out of her 2004 Lexus has already evolved into a full service lifestyle brand, requiring an upgrade to a company van, expanded offerings, and a presence that’s reaching across multiple counties.
There’s something about the way Alicia moves that stands out immediately… she’s thoughtful, intentional, and she’s deeply aware of the people she’s serving. She has a soft spot for single moms because she is one, and she’s built her business in a way that reflects that understanding, working with people instead of around them.
Her services go far beyond laundry. Yes, she’s picking up, washing, folding, and delivering with a level of care that feels personal, but she’s also stepping into homes, helping reset spaces, organizing, supporting the day to day things that quietly overwhelm people. It’s not just about clean clothes, it’s about giving people their time back.
And then there’s the way she shows up for her community; when the Brantley County wildfires hit, she didn’t hesitate. She offered free laundry services to those affected, stepping in where she could, doing what she does best, and turning something simple into something meaningful.
She’s also the kind of person who doesn’t forget the people who show up for her along the way. She came to our shoot with her iced coffee from Elliano's Coffee, a place she stops at every morning where they know her by name and treat her like family. It mattered to her that they were mentioned here, which says everything about the way she builds relationships alongside her business
Behind the scenes, she’s already thinking ahead. She’s currently working on her own line of laundry detergent after realizing firsthand how harsh traditional products can be. That kind of awareness, paired with her drive, is what’s pushing her forward and, personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on her line of laundry detergent!
She’s also someone who believes in building with others. She gives credit freely, collaborates openly, and understands that growing a business doesn’t have to happen in isolation.
What stands out most about Alicia isn’t just how quickly she’s grown, it’s how fully she’s stepped into it. In less than a year, she’s gone from doing everything herself to leading a team, managing operations, expanding her services, and still staying rooted in why she started in the first place. She’s present, she’s hands-on, and she’s building something that reflects both her strength as a mother and her instinct as a business owner. The kind of growth she’s experiencing doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from clarity, work ethic, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when things get big, fast. And if the last 11 months are any indication, she’s nowhere near done yet!
I absolutely can’t wait to see where the next 11 months takes her <3
